Abstract

Setiap Perguruan Tinggi biasanya mempunyai tugas pendidikan    dan    Pengajaran, penelitian dan pengabdian. Peningkatan kinerja dosen perlu pengembangan karir dosen. Begitu juga dosen di universitas Lampung.  Focus Group Discussion grup diadakan di Universitas Lampung dengan tema Memetakan potensi–potensi budaya Lampung (adat Saibatin dan Pepadun). Tujuan Sosialisasi berupa FGD (focus Discussion Group) ini adalah: 1) Membahas mengenai potensi–potensi budaya Lampung (adat Saibatin dan Pepadun) yang dapat dikaji sebagai objek penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat bidang budaya. 2) Mengidentifikasi peta kebudayaan masyarakat adat Lampung Saibatin dan Pepadun,  3) Memfasilitasi dialog yang lebih terbuka antara para peneliti dari beberapa disiplin ilmu, dan keahlian di perguruan tinggi dan para stakeholder, seniman, pengampu kepentingan kebijakan dan     pengguna hasil-hasil penelitian. Metode pengabdian ini melalui pemaparan materi, diskusi dan pertanyaan. Setelah pre test dan post test didapatkan penambahan  pemahaman peserta sebanyak 10 atau 6%, 15 atau 2%, 20 atau 42%, 25 atau 2%, 30 atau 38%, 40 atau 4%, dan 50 atau 6%.
