Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini ini bertujuan untuk memberikan Sosialisasi Literasi dan Pendidikan Politik Dasar bagi Generasi Muda dalam Menghadapi Pilkada 2024 yang dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 1 Pangandaran. Kegiatan ini melibatkan sekitar 34 siswa kelas 12 dan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mereka mengenai literasi politik dan proses demokrasi, khususnya dalam konteks Pilkada. Melalui pendekatan interaktif yang mencakup debat, diskusi, dan pemaparan materi oleh narasumber, peserta diberikan wawasan mengenai pentingnya partisipasi aktif dalam Pilkada, serta sikap bijak dalam menghadapi isu politik seperti hoaks dan praktik politik uang. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur perubahan pengetahuan dan pemahaman peserta. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam skor post-test peserta, yang mencerminkan keberhasilan kegiatan dalam meningkatkan literasi politik mereka. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa sosialisasi tersebut efektif dalam mempersiapkan generasi muda untuk menjadi pemilih yang cerdas dan bertanggung jawab, serta memberikan kontribusi terhadap penguatan demokrasi di tingkat lokal. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memberikan dasar bagi pengembangan program serupa di sekolah-sekolah lain untuk memperluas dampak literasi demokrasi di kalangan generasi muda.
