Edukasi Keselamatan Kebakaran sebagai Tindakan Preventif pada Usia Dini di SDN 14 Pemulutan

Kabupaten Ogan Ilir merupakan salah satu daerah rawan kebakaran. Berdasarkan data dari Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Ogan Ilir pada tahun 2021 terdapat 126 kejadian kebakaran telah melanda dengan wilayah terjadi kebakaran terbanyak adalah Kecamatan Pemulutan yakni sebanyak 85 rumah kebakaran(perKK). Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dasar kepada siswa dalam menghadapi situasi darurat kebakaran, meningkatkan kesadaran serta pemahaman siswa tentang bahaya kebakaran, membiasakan siswa dengan prosedur evakuasi saat terjadi kebakaran, melatih siswa dalam penggunaan alat pemadam api ringan (APAR), menanamkan sikap tanggung jawab dalam menjaga keselamatan bersama, dan harapan nya dengan memberikan edukasi ini anak-anak akan menjadi lebih sadar akan bahaya kebakaran, serta memiliki keterampilan yang di butuhkan untuk bertindak secara cepat, metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu Edukasi dan sosialisasi, pemberian soal pretest dan posttest, simulasi kebakaran dan penanganan api, edukasi jenis jenis alat penanganan api. Nilai rata-rata pretest 85,93< postest 91,11 artinya secara deskriptif terdapat perbedaan rata- rata pengetahuan peserta pengabdian sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan sosilisasi mengenai edukasi keselamatan kebakaran sebagai tindakan preventif pada usia dini. Dari hasil evaluasi pretest dan posttest diketahui bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan peserta sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan sosialisasi mengenai edukasi keselamatan kebakaran sebagai tindakan preventif pada anak usia dini.
