Peningkatan Pemahaman Ketahanan Pangan Ibu Dan Balita Berbasis Sustainable Livelihood Framework bagi Kader Posyandu Mekar Jaya Bandar Lampung

Kegiatan pengabdian memiliki tujuan meningkatkan pemahaman kepada kader Posyandu Mekar Jaya terkait ketahanan pangan ibu dan balita berbassis sustainable livelihood framework sehingga dapat menguatkan kapabilitas peran ibu dalam ketahanan pangan. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, pengabdian ini menekankan pada peran ibu sebagai pengasuh utama anak dan penentu gizi utama keluarga. Oleh karena itu, analisis penting dari hasil pengabdian ini adalah mengintegrasikan konstruksi otonomi ibu, faktor sosiokultural, dan kekuatan di dalam pemilihan gizi dalam menu makanan keluarga yang ditelaah berdasarkan karakteristik responden (tingkat pendidikan, penghasilan, dan usia) dengan menggunakan kriteria ACTORS (authority, confidence and competence, trust, opportunity, responbility, support)
Kegiatan pengabdian telah dilaksanakan dengan menyelenggarakan forum group discussion (FGD) pada tanggal 16 Juni 2025 di Posyandu Mekar Jaya. FGD diikuti oleh 40 peserta yang terdiri dari kader, anggota Posyandu Mekar Jaya , warga sekitar beserta anak-anak. Guna melihat hasil FGD, dilakukan evaluasi kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Evaluasi kuantitatfi dilakukan dengan memberikan pre-tes dan pos-tes kepada para responden. Hasil analisis ANOVA terhadap hasil pre-tes dan pos-tes menunjukkan karakteristik responden (tingkat pendidikan, penghasilan, dan usia) memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap peran ibu dalam ketahanan pangan menurut kriteria ACTORS. Dari karakteristik responden tersebut, diketahui ibu dengan latar belakang pendidikan diploma/sarjana secara statistik lebih mampu meningkatkan kepercayaan keluarga dalam pengelolaan gizi dibanding ibu berpendidikan lebih rendah. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, dapat dirumuskan rekomendasi, hhendaknya implikasi kebijakan program intervensi gizi sebaiknya difokuskan pada ibu berpendidikan rendah (SMP/SMA) agar meningkatkan kepercayaan diri dalam mengambil keputusan terkait perencanaan menu, pencegahan pemborosan makanan, dan pengenalan ragam makanan sehat, gizi serta nutrisi yang seimbang sesuai kebutuhan keluarga.
