Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa sosialisasi kepada siswa siswi Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri I Kecamatan Punggur Kabupaten Lampung Tengah bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan dalam menghadapi bencana alam terutama jika terjadi gempa bumi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 22 Januari 2025 dengan jumlah peserta kelas 10 dan kelas 11 yang berjumlah kurang lebih 600 siswa. Dengan kegiatan ini peserta menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman mengenai macam-macam bencana alam dan bagaimana kesiapsiagaan jika bencana alam tersebut terjadi. Peserta aktif dalam bertanya dan menjawab pertanyaan, serta mampu mensimulasikan kesiapsiagaan dalam menghadapi bencana alam terutama gempa bumi. Keterlibatan aktif dan umpan balik positif dari peserta menunjukkan bahwa sosialisasi ini sangat bermanfaat.
