Abstract

Penyandang disabilitas memiliki hak yang sama sebagai warga negara termasuk hak dalam partisipasi politik, namun dalam kenyataannya mereka mengalami berbagai tantangan baik secara struktural, sosial, maupun kultural sehingga menghambat mereka dalam memenuhi hak politiknya. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan memperkuat partisipasi politik penyandang disabilitas yang juga merupakan bagian dari Upaya mewujudkan demokrasi yang inklusif dan adil. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui edukasi partisipatif yang tidak hanya mendengarkan materi yang diberikan, namun diberikan kesempatan untuk mengutarakan pendapat dan pengalaman dalam partisipasi politik. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman mengenai hak politik dan cara melindungi hak politik penyandang disabilitas.
