Abstract

Kecamatan Rajabasa di Kota Bandar Lampung merupakan salah satu wilayah yang rawan terhadap bencana banjir, terutama saat curah hujan tinggi. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi masyarakat adalah rendahnya kesadaran dan pengetahuan mengenai mitigasi dan kesiapsiagaan menghadapi bencana banjir. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat dalam mitigasi bencana banjir melalui edukasi, pelatihan, dan penerapan solusi sederhana berbasis partisipatif. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi lapangan, pemaparan materi dan diskusi, serta solusi sederhana dalam penanganan banjir. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan memberikan sosialisasi tentang mitigasi banjir dan pemberian bantuan berupa pipa saluran air untuk mengurangi resiko banjir, serta pemberian kalender mitigasi bencana kepada masyarakat Perumahan Gelora Persada Rajabasa Bandar Lampung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang penyebab, dampak, serta langkah mitigasi banjir. Masyarakat juga menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi dalam setiap kegiatan pengabdian ini. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat ketahanan masyarakat Rajabasa terhadap ancaman banjir di masa mendatang.
