Implementasi pembangunan berkelanjutan memerlukan strategi komunikasi yang mampu membangun pengetahuan, kesadaran, dan perilaku masyarakat terhadap isu lingkungan. Salah satu pendekatan yang mendukung upaya tersebut adalah blue economy yang menekankan pemanfaatan sumber daya secara efisien dan berkelanjutan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas edukasi blue economy berbasis komunikasi perubahan perilaku dalam meningkatkan literasi lingkungan peserta didik. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri Satu Atap 1 Jati Agung, Kabupaten Lampung Selatan, dengan melibatkan 34 siswa. Metode yang digunakan berupa pendekatan edukatif-partisipatif melalui tahapan pre-test, penyampaian materi secara interaktif, diskusi partisipatif, tanya jawab, dan post-test. Efektivitas kegiatan dievaluasi menggunakan desain one-group pre-test–post-test dengan analisis deskriptif terhadap perubahan hasil belajar peserta. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata peserta meningkat dari 8,26 menjadi 8,71 atau mengalami peningkatan sebesar 5,34%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan komunikasi yang partisipatif dan kontekstual efektif dalam memperkuat pemahaman peserta mengenai blue economy serta meningkatkan literasi lingkungan sebagai fondasi awal pembentukan kesadaran ekologis. Kegiatan ini juga menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi perubahan perilaku berperan sebagai mekanisme yang menjembatani konsep blue economy dengan pembentukan literasi lingkungan melalui proses pembelajaran yang partisipatif. Model edukasi ini berpotensi direplikasi pada berbagai program pendidikan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat sebagai bagian dari implementasi pembangunan berkelanjutan.
